Description
The DrumBot 300 is a fully automated solution for the handling, emptying and compacting of drums. Designed to optimize industrial flows, it incorporates:
- An intelligent depalletizing robot, equipped with the FANUC iRVision vision system, which detects, grips and transfers the drums.
- A DrumFlow 04 emptying station, ensuring tipping and hermetic capping for total and confined emptying.
- An optional hydraulic press, which compacts empty drums after emptying to reduce volume and logistics costs.
Thanks to this advanced automation, the DrumBot 300 reduces manual intervention, improves productivity and guarantees a safe and ergonomic process.

Operating procedure
Loading the pallets
- The forklift drivers place the pallets of full drums on a motorized conveyor.
- An automatic detection system identifies the arrival of a new pallet and routes it to the depalletization area.
Robotic depalletization
- The DrumBot 300, equipped with the iRVision FANUC camera, analyzes the arrangement of the drums in real time.
- It selects, grabs the first drum with its dedicated gripper and transfers it to the DrumFlow 04 emptying station.
Hermetic emptying of drums
- The DrumFlow 04 fixes and covers the drum to ensure total containment.
- The drum is tilted 180°, allowing complete emptying without dispersion.
- Once emptied, it is released and transferred to the next stage.
Drum compaction (optional)
- The empty drum is automatically moved to the hydraulic press.
- The press reduces its volume, thus optimizing the storage and transport of waste.
- The compacted drums are disposed of in a waste bin.
- When the option is not selected, the empty drums can be reused and the robot picks them up to re-palletize them.
Automated flow management
- Once the pallet of empty drums is full, it is removed automatically.
- A new pallet of full drums is brought in, guaranteeing a smooth and continuous process.
Equipment advantages
- Fully automated: Depalletization, emptying and compacting of drums without operator intervention.
- High precision and adaptability: FANUC iRVision 3D vision, multi-format support for drums.
- Maximum safety and containment: Hermetic capping and draining without dispersion, preserving a clean environment.
- Reduction of logistics costs: Optional hydraulic press, minimizing the volume of empty drums and facilitating their recycling.
