Pallet 4 drums: 1200 x 1200 x H 1150
The drum tipping operation is designed to be an autonomous operation. The first step in the operation is conducted by the forklift operator whom deposits the drum pallet onto the drum tipper. A light curtain sensor provides safe operation of the drum tipping equipment.
Four drums can be discharged at once, which provides high throughput while avoiding the depalletizing of the drums. Further safety precautions are integrated into the tipper, for example, the drums are hydraulically clamped to the equipment for during operation. The DrumFlow® 03 drum tilter also allows the tipping of "europe" type containers and any other packaging in "pallet" format.
Once the bin or pallet of drums is positioned on the tipper, the operator authorizes the tipping via a wireless remote control and the drums are tilted at 160°. In some applications where higher throughputs are required, motorized roller conveyors can be integrated to automate the loading and unloading phases of the tipper.
The control of the tilter and all safety systems are controlled by the Palamatic Process PLC – Pal ‘Touch.
