Contained big bag conditioner - SmashR® Enclosed
Developed for big bags containing granular or hazardous powders, the SmashR® Enclosed big bag massager cage provides crushing while maintaining a fully sealed, dust-free enclosure. The hydraulic equipment and rotating lift table are integrated into the containment enclosure, while an extraction system captures any dust emissions.
This solution facilitates big bag emptying during production, while also ensuring operator safety. It is particularly well suited to the chemical industry.
"Standard" cycle:
- Operator loads big bag
- Operator closes doors
- Operator starts massage cycle
- The paddles exert 4 upward pressures on the big bag.
- Table rotates 90°
- The paddles exert 4 upward pressures on the big bag.
- Table rotates 90°
- The cycle is complete, and a signal message indicates that the operator can open the doors and retrieve the big bag.
The number of presses and table turns is adjustable.
Duration of a "standard" cycle: 5 min.
Output: approx. 12 big bags/hr

The massaging station comprises 2 pairs of hydraulic cylinders, enabling simultaneous massaging of 2 opposite sides of the big bag via the flaps.

The big bag is massaged by hydraulic pushers, which break up the mass of the big bag when it is "in block" to facilitate emptying.

Operating mode:
1. The operator inserts the big bag or forklift through the access door and places it on the turntable. Once the big bag is installed, the access door is closed.
2. The operator selects the desired operating mode from several pre-set modes.
These modes are configurable and take into account:
- Big bag height
- Number of massage cycles
- Number of times the table is raised/lowered
- Number of rotations of the lift table plate
- Once the operating mode has been selected, the operator launches the cycle from the control panel.
3. The massage cycle starts
4. An alert message informs the operator that the cycle is complete, and that he can open the door and remove the big bag.

Description:
The remote control cable is a device enabling SmashR® cycles to be triggered remotely by pulling on a cable. This feature provides a method of control, ensuring safe and efficient use of the SmashR. What's more, the operator doesn't have to get out of the truck, making his work easier and increasing throughput.

High-speed pump

Description:
This option consists of equipping the SmashR® with a high-speed hydraulic pump, which speeds up big bag breaking cycles.
During the start up phase, the cylinders are moved at high speed and low pressure.
For the massaging cycle, a slower and high-pressure pump breaks up the deep seated lumps.
With a high-speed pump, the SmashR can process big bags more quickly. - Increased output

Description:
The integrated traceability system enables the SmashR® to generate detailed reports on the history of operation. This includes data such as cycle times, force applied, downtime, etc. These reports offer complete traceability of the big bag unpacking process, which can be essential for quality monitoring, regulatory compliance and continuous process improvement. Data is stored on a server or USB stick.

- The 4 paddles exert upward motion pressures on the big bag
