Ferric sulphate unit

This company in the construction industry offers different types of products such as cement, lime, binders....

The company needed equipment that would facilitate the flow and containment of ferric sulphate, while ensuring ergonomics and operator safety.

The emptying system for the bulk bag is made of 304 stainless steel for the parts in contact with the ferric sulphates. The bulk bag is placed using a forklift truck and a handling cross. Once the bulk bag is placed on the dispensing tray, the operator opens the de-lacing box and undoes the bulk bag knot to authorize the emptying of the iron sulphate. In order to minimize dust emissions, the de-lacing box is attached to an existing industrial dust collection unit.

A static discharge chute (buffer hopper) containing ferric sulphates is located under the de-lacing box. This buffer hopper is made of 304 stainless steel. Its outlet diameter is in accordance with the flange of the existing suction system.

At the outlet of the big bag discharging Easyflow EF0 , a diaphragm pump ensures the conveying of the ferric sulphate.
