2. Main applications of paprika
Although paprika was originally used in Maghrebian, Spanish, Portuguese and Hungarian cuisine, it is increasingly used by food manufacturers (spices and flavors, ready-made meals...) for its taste and its particular color. It can be found in products such as chorizo, goulash, soubressade, merguez, sausages, salamis, aperitif cakes, soups, sauces, chips, cheeses...
Source of vitamin C, it is also used in the medicinal field.

The objective of the installation is the sieving of the paprika powder for the reconditioning of spices from storage containers. To achieve this, emptying and filling stations for the containers as well as a centrifugal sieve were set up.
