Paprika powder Palamatic

1. Main characteristics of paprika

Paprika, also called sweet pepper, is originally a plant native to South America. Today, it is best known as a spice.

Paprika powder is a red or orange powder depending on the temperature of its environment.

Its granulometry is 98%<630µm.

2. Main applications of paprika

Although paprika was originally used in Maghrebian, Spanish, Portuguese and Hungarian cuisine, it is increasingly used by food manufacturers (spices and flavors, ready-made meals...) for its taste and its particular color. It can be found in products such as chorizo, goulash, soubressade, merguez, sausages, salamis, aperitif cakes, soups, sauces, chips, cheeses...

Source of vitamin C, it is also used in the medicinal field.

3. Industrial handling of paprika

Paprika powder can be difficult to flow, sticky and adhesive. Therefore, flow aids such as a vibration system may be required on your production line, or screening equipment to break up agglomerates and prevent mechanical damage.
