Processed powder: plaster
Process of plasterboard production
French company producing and selling plaster, products derived from plaster and products based on expanded polystyrene.
The big bag discharging station is designed for manual opening of all types of big bags, minimizing dust emissions and facilitating product flow.
The big bag is installed using an electric hoist and a handling cross provided for this purpose. The handling cross is fitted with a fifth point to hang the inner liner bag of the big bag. In order to offer ergonomic access for the operator, a platform gives access to the unlacing cabinet. Once the big bag is installed on the dispensing tray, the operator opens the unlacing cabinet and unties the knot on the spout of the big bag to allow the plaster to be discharged.
The unloading of the big bags is improved by the activation of a massage system.
In order to minimize dust emissions, the unlacing cabinet and the filling tube of the container are connected to the centralized dust collection unit by a DN150 pipe. The industrial dust collector is located on the ground and is fitted with a dust collection hopper with a clamped bucket.
The big bag discharge station is designed to handle the storage container underneath the unlacing box. The height of the container is 1800 mm. At the outlet of the big bag emptying station, a flexible fitting ensures the connection to the centering devices. In order to obtain proper containment, the flexible connector is clamped to the container.
The big bag is then removed using the hoist and the handling cross.
