    Description
Preservation of products stored in big bags by nitrogen inerting

AzotR® bulk bag inerting skid with welding in place and residual oxygen level control

Preservation of the product by nitrogen inerting, welding of the bulk bag sleeve and verification of the residual oxygen level.

The AzotR® super sack inerting skid is a self-contained, modular solution for packaging your products in bulk bags under a nitrogen atmosphere. This innovative machine evacuates a bulk bag, then injects nitrogen to ensure optimum protection of the products to be packaged.
What's more, it incorporates a sensor to test residual oxygen levels, guaranteeing optimum preservation. It is designed to be used in conjunction with a bulk bag filling station, or directly integrated onto an existing bulk bag station.

    Key features :

    • Nitrogen inerting for optimum product preservation
    • Welding in place of the bulk bag cuff
    • Residual oxygen level control via integrated sensor
    • Height-adjustable, pivoting handle
    • Fork-liftable skid
    • Ergonomic control panel

    Technical specification

    • Manufacturing materials: RAL 9006 painted steel (optional: 304L stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, HDPE)
    • Installed power: 2.2 kW 50Hz
    • Flow rate: 100m³/h.
    • Vacuum pump technology: lubricated vane pump
    • Absolute final pressure: 60 mbar
    • Dimensions (L x W x H) : to be determined according to the characteristics of your super sacks

    Operating principle:

The operator extends the jib and adjusts the height to suit the size of the bulk bag. The big bag is then positioned on a pallet in line with the welding system, and its cuff is threaded around the forming mould.
Once the bulk bag is correctly positioned, the operator starts the inerting, welding and residual oxygen level control cycle from the control panel.

The inerting tube is lowered, and the vacuum pump starts, enabling the vacuum preset on the console to be reached. The nitrogen injection solenoid valve is opened and the bulk bag is inflated with nitrogen to the preset pressure.
The bulk bag cuff is then welded using welding electrodes. During this process, the integrated sensor measures the residual oxygen level inside the bulk bag to ensure optimum product preservation.

Once the cycle is complete, the cuff closing jaws open and the bulk bag can be removed.

    Accessories and options:

    - Protective filter for vacuum pump
    - Check valve for vacuum pump
    - PLC (Siemens S7-1200)
    - Electrical cabinet in painted steel, 304L stainless steel or polyester
    - Residual oxygen level sensor for precise control and optimum product preservation

The AzotR® bulk bag inerting skid, with in-place welding and residual oxygen level monitoring, is the ideal solution for guaranteeing optimum preservation of your bulk bag products. Thanks to this innovation, you can ensure the quality and safety of your products, while extending their shelf life.
