Easy cleaning
The Palamatic Process rotary sifter GSC-ECD integrates all the features necessary for hygienic and easy to clean equipment. All of the component parts are easy to remove for complete cleaning and total decontamination of the entire sieve. Washing nozzles are also located inside the vibrating screen for clean in place procedures. The materials used are FDA food grade compatible and resistant to corrosion.
Vibrating sieves, or vibratory flat deck screeners, from the ECD range are regularly used for quality control of food-based powders early on in the process as well as at the end of the packaging line.
The food industry provides a clean product by controlling the raw materials introduced into the process and by ensuring that the process itself does not generate foreign contaminants.
In addition, the design of PALAMATIC vibrating screens from the Easy Clean Design ECD range offers almost zero retention. Powder retention was a major design factor for the validation of this range of sifters.
The screener is designed to be dust-tight and prevent outside contamination. The atmospheric sealing of the screener allows sieving in a controlled atmosphere.
Integrated assembly and disassembly system
The range of ECD vibrating screens as standard design for quick maintenance integrates a manual lifting jib crane.

Features
Technical specification
Sifting occurs thanks to a vibrating motor fitted on the side of the machine (1.1 kW for model GSC 900, and 0.5 kW for models GSC450 and GSC 600).
Feeding is ensured by the central upper flange connected via a flexible sleeve.
Lumps are destroyed and foreign bodies are eliminated.
The screen is available in stainless steel or nylon and in different sizes to fit the needs of each customer and each product specification.
