Screening and mechanical conveying of cereals

Processed powders: malt, barley and wheat powder

Brewery feeding line

The goal of the installation is to screen the cereals used in the beer production process. The purpose of this sieving is to eliminate any foreign bodies such as stones, pellets that may be mixed with the cereals during supply chain from the provider or during transport.

A vibrating screen GSC600 manufactured in painted steel is integrated into the existing industrial production lines. It has 5 mm meshes and ensures a flow rate of 5 t./h. It is fed by a mechanical conveying screw that is positioned at the outlet of a weighed hopper. At the screening outlet, the bulk materials/raw ingredients are lifted via a tubular screw that feeds an existing pneumatic conveying system via a rotary airlock valve on the screen.

The installation of this vibrating screen ensures the protection of production machines and the elimination of foreign bodies; it guarantees the hygiene and safety of the process.
