Continuous transfer of crackers
Our customer is a manufacturer of snacking products for private labels: crackers, chips, cereals, puffed products, etc.
At the extrusion outlet, after the potato flour feed, the puffed crackers are directly collected to feed the associative filling machine.
The pendulum bucket elevator continuously collects the extruded crackers, directly at the outlet of the two-screw extrusion die. The continuous flow ensures the feeding of the associative weigher for the packaging on the vertical gooseneck machine.
The choice of the pendulum bucket elevator technology is simple: this conveyance method provides a continuous transfer at high volumetric flow rate without causing product attrition (preserve the shape of the snack). This transfer technology makes it possible to transport very fragile products with the added benefit of easy and quick disassembly for cleaning and hygiene.
