Processed powder: Sorbitol
Pharmaceutical loading
Manufacturing of basic pharmaceutical products, medicines
The objective of this project is:
- The installation of a specific EasyFlow® big bag discharging structure designed and installed on an existing industrial container structure.
- The addition of a sealing system on this base to ensure a tight and flexible connection between the spout of the big bag and the existing mesh screen.
- The supply of 4 big bag support frames adapted to the new big bag discharge system and the handling constraints on site.
Current installation:
We have a packaging line that loads bags with sorbitol powder.
This machine is supplied with powder by gravity, via a stainless-steel container placed in a cabin on a level located above the machine.
Inside this cabin, the stainless-steel container is supported on a base with a vibrating screen at the bottom.
The connection between the bottom valve of the container and the vibrating screen is made by means of an inflatable seal.
The stainless-steel container with 850 kg of powder is exchanged for a big bag with the same capacity.
The current industrial cabin will be replaced by a new generation cabin.
Solution suggested by Palamatic Process:
Big bag emptying station with telescopic tight connection tube and immaterial barrier for operator protection. This barrier stops the movement of the big bag dsicharge valve in case of intrusion.
The big bag is positioned in the frame which is then placed on the emptying base. The big bag is then connected to the vibrating screen using the waterproof connection sleeve.
An Atex 22 electrical control panel with touch screen provides access to production recipes and installation settings.
