Bagging of fruits and pulses
The installation concerns a line for mixing and packaging fruits and pulses.
A food grade belt and bucket elevator conveyor is equipped with a small hopper that allows the loading of various dry ingredients. The loading is carried out manually by the operators.
The dry ingredients are mechanically conveyed to their unloading point above the mixer.
This type of conveying is a "soft" conveying, not aggressive for the transported product. It therefore makes it possible to convey friable and fragile products.
The dried fruits / vegetables then fall by gravity into the single - rotor horizontal mixer.
This paddle mixer is discontinuous and works in successive batches.
The type of equipment makes it possible to form a uniform mixture from several ingredients with very different characteristics.
Once the homogeneous mixture of the different ingredients is achieved, it is conveyed mechanically to the big bags via a second belt elevator conveyor.
The big bag is positioned in a handling cage for support.
The installation of the big bag in the cage is facilitated by centering devices. These handling cages can be stacked at 3 heights.
Once the big bag is filled it is evacuated via a forklift.
