This installation concerns a company that has been a leader in the production and sale of corn seeds for almost 40 years in Chile.

The objective is the installation of a filling station for big bags FlowMatic® 02 for seed conditioning. The filling structure integrates a height-adjustable apron for hanging the big bag. The height adjustment of the structure is realized thanks to a pneumatic jack controlled by an automaton which gives the big bag an optimal shape during the filling operations and which allows the conditioning of big bags of different heights.

The big bag filling station is supplied with corn seeds upstream via a slide gate valve. This valve allows the extraction and the dosage of the seeds in a gravitational way. It allows to cut the corn seeds in bulk thanks to its central shovel and thus to cut the passage of the grains and to guarantee a total sealing.

A flexible connection sleeve allows a tight connection between the guillotine valve and the filling tube of the conditioner. It is composed of two stainless steel tubes and a flexible coupling. This sleeve is installed in line with this configuration but can also be positioned offset or on an oscillating part.
