The manufacture of activated carbon slurry uses two main products: powdered or granular activated carbon and water. Palamatic Process has developed these production skids to allow the user to simply and automatically produce their own slip.

The only items required by your production site are a water and carbon supply that meet the specifications for you to produce your own slurry. The PalBlack Skid® is integrated into a 20 foot shipping container (half-container). This sealed enclosure allows complete control of the atmosphere around equipment handling activated carbon. However, this very volatile product is also often classified as combustible.
Our extensive experience in the treatment of complex powders has enabled us to install proven and waterproof equipment in this container. The operator only needs to ensure the correct supply of charcoal: either with bags in skid 4, or with bulk bags in skid 14, or directly from blower trucks in skid 28.
The equipped tanks are in black HDPE and completely waterproof. They consist of a high shearing power mixer and anti-vortex blades. A special system allows the wetting of the carbon without emitting dust, and allows an optimal dispersion of the activated carbon. The water dosing system is integrated into the tanks and fully automated.
The activated carbon suspension is withdrawn by the peristaltic pump system to its point of use. An automatic rinsing system keeps the circuits in optimal working order.
