Automatic feeding of mixers from macro to micro-ingredients
The BakeFlow®3 line ensures 100% automated loading of the mixers with 100% of the ingredients.
The mini-ingredient weighing hoppers work by weight to guarantee greater precision. Mini-ingredient batches are transferred to the mixer bowls by means of pneumatic vacuum conveying via the main weigher for macros receiving the flours, or in a dedicated intermediate hopper.
Micro-ingredients are also dosed fully automatically by the associated DosingMatic systems.
Industrial automation ensures complete traceability.

Automatic feed of dry ingredients into mixers - BakeFlow®3
The BakeFlow®3 pneumatic transfer, dosing and mixing line is specially designed for the automatic feeding of major and minor ingredients used in industrial bakeries, pastry shops and biscuits. This solution therefore allows the automatic filling of the production kneader.
The automation of the kneader feeding operation is an important issue in the world of baked goods. The multiplication of manufacturing recipes on the production lines has prompted Palamatic Process engineers to develop turnkey process lines to premix production (mixture of dry ingredients) of minor and major ingredients.
Storage and dosing of dry ingredients: flour, sugar, texturizers, yeast, minor ingredients, etc.
The storage hoppers for all the dry raw materials mini ingredients are connected to the weighers by dosing screws to ensure correct dosages.
Major ingredients such as sugars and flours can be fed directly into the bowl from the silos.
The number of minor ingredients can be adapted to suit your needs. Major ingredients such as sugars and flours can be fed directly into the bowl from the silo/bulk bag via weighers and pneumatic transfer.
Micro-ingredients are pre-weighed via a DosingMatic® Hopper system. The micro ingredient weighing hopper is connected to the same suction pneumatic transfer as the macro ingredients. After dosing, the micro ingredients are automatically transferred to the final hopper for the flour. The whole unit is emptied into the bowl. This pneumatic vacuum transfer technology is particularly well-suited to the bakery sector, thanks to the cleanliness of the system and the absence of powder retention.
Alternative technologies using flexible screws do not achieve the same level of hygiene.

Dosing of macro and micro ingredients
The conveying cyclo filter positioned on load cells, also known as a weighing hopper, operates on a batch basis.
Its integrated weighing system enables macro-ingredients to be dosed directly from the silos and bulk bags. Above all, this system saves preparation time while guaranteeing 1% dosing accuracy.
Micro-ingredients are prepared on the DosingMatic® Hopper station. Precision feeders dose the right quantity into a bowl adapted to the precision required. A suction hopper enables the system to integrate these micro-ingredients directly into the final weighing hopper. Mini-ingredients are weighed either by de-weighing from the bulk bag emptying station or by weighing from the hopper, depending on their quantity.
Loading the kneader
Underneath the weighing hopper, the operator positions the mixing bowls to deliver the dose requested by the PLC. Control is carried out entirely by the HMI integrated into each preparation station. RFID chips can be positioned on the mixer to facilitate identification of the mobile bowls.
Control of the dosing / mixing line
The line automation interconnected with global IT enables the launch of dosing cycles, transfer and mixing and identification of mixers. The traceability of the flour mixtures is guaranteed as well as the identification of the operators according to the final design provided.
The BakeFlow®3 automatic kneader feed line is the only automatic solution to provide a reliable turnkey solution for the dosing and mixing of all your dry ingredients used in your bakery recipes.
