    AUTOMATIC BAG DUMP STATION - VARISLIT® - For high speed deconditioning of sacks and bags from 30 to 100 lbs without adjustments

    The VARISLIT® automatic bag dump station with double rotationg blades is for emptying large quantities of bags at a high rate without dust emissions into the atmosphere. 

    The Varislit® high speed bag opener is widely used in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and agrochemical industries. Its patented inversion system conveys empty bags into an integrated screw compactor. An optional dust extraction system can be added to this automatic bag opener for full containment of dust during bag opening operation. The standard double-blade rotary system and its elongated shape allow the processing of large bags at an extremely high rate. The entire mechanics are placed outside to avoid contact with the material being processed.
    This machine is designed to open 12 bags/min.

    Operating mode

    1. The operator positions the bag with a bag manipulator on the belt conveyor that supplies the bag dump station

    2. The bag is detected by the sensor controlling the cutting system

    3. The blade cuts the bag and the lower part is grasped by the inversion discs

    4. When the sensor is deactivated, the blade returns to the rest position so as not to cut the bag in half

    5. The bag is then directed to the bag compactors and the machine is ready to receive the following bag

    The operator lifts the bag using the bag manipulator. The bag is then discharged into the emptying station. Finally, the powder is hygienically transferred into the storage container.

      Bag manipulator

      Sack manipulator : The operator, via a simple control handle, depalletizes the bags and positions them on the infeed conveyor.

      The infeed speed is ensured with maximum ergonomics.

      Rotative cleaning nozzles/heads - Clean In Place (CIP).

      The installation of nozzles inside the machine allows to ensure a complete and automatic cleaning of all the equipment after the opening phase.

      Several nozzles are installed to clean the entire machine and thus ensure zero cross contamination.

      The drying phase using filtered hot air (H14) is also offered by the Palamatic Process design office.

      Infeed belt conveyor

      The belt conveyor is used to deport the operator from the entrance of the machine.

      The belt conveyor is either vertical or inclined. Its design incorporates sensor cells that can also control the flow of the machine.

      The lengths are defined according to the installation constraints.

      A gooseneck is provided for inclined conveyors.

      Dust collection

      Dust removal is the essential additional equipment to ensure a healthy working atmosphere.

      The dust collector is installed directly on the machine and thus makes it possible to reintroduce the vacuum fines or is positioned outside for independent dust collectors.

      Customized lump breaker

      The integrated lump breaker allows the machine to process clodded powders and bulk materials.

      The rotating blades ensure the passage of lumps through a calibrated screen.

      This lump breaker is fully integrated into the machine body, which ensures a reduced space requirement.

      Vibrating chute

      The chute installed at the machine outlet allows to channel the product flow for introduction into the process upstream.

      The design is specific to each implementation.

      Pre-crushing of the bag

      Pre-crushing of the bags when passing bags with lumps.
      The passage of the bag in front of the detect sensor starts the crushing action.

      Holding roller

      The holding roller is used to process bags weighing less than 15 kg.

      Bulk materials such as aerosil or caposil packaged in large bags are held in place during cutting without risk of tearing.
