Our client is a leading international group in the manufacture of linoleum floor coverings, building adhesives and PVC materials.

The continuous dosing supply of a PVC powder into a mixing reactor. The industrial metering system is fed by a pneumatic vacuum conveying system connected to a Sacktip® S bag dump station fitted with a buffer hopper. The material transfer is directly handled by the VFlow® pneumatic conveying system and controlled by the load cells of the intermediate hopper on the dosing unit.
The flow rate of the installation is 530 to 660 lbs/hr. The sack tip tray includes an integrated dust collection unit with reverse pulse jet cleaning system to keep the filters from clogging. A sack compactor is attached and mounted to the side of the bag opening station for reduction of the bag waste volumes and containment of residual dust. The improve operator ergonomics and workstation cleanliness provided an overall promotion in production and manufacturing efficiencies.
