A major French perfume manufacturer of cosmetic products required a powder production line for foundation.

A Sacktip® S manual bag emptying station feeds a screw dosing unit. This powder feeder, in volumetric operation, provide the required controlled rate to the UM360 pin mill. 

The powder is introduced into the grinding chamber continuously at a flow rate of 100 ltr/hr. A filtration system, integrated into the industrial mill, provides a degassing function. The finely milled powder is then packed into bags using our PalSack®01 bag filling system.

The design of the plant process provides easy disassembly and cleaning between batch runs. The contact parts of the impact pin mill are manufactured with a finish of Ra < 0.4 (220 grit).
