Palamatic Process has developed a simple solution to bulk bags and drums discharge via a retractable suction tube and vacuum unloading. This station, part of the EasyFlow® range, offers partial or full emptying of your bulk bag by vertical discharge from above the bulk bag. Integrated load cells allow the operator to precisely control and manage the amount of product to be vacuumed.
The EasyFlow® Flex bulk bag unloading station has been designed by Palamatic Process for batch process discharge via an integrated weigh system and vacuum conveying. This station allows for partial unloaded of super sacks and the conveying of multiple ingredients. With EasyFlow® Flex, a single station is sufficient for multi-product discharging by combining this equipment along with our VFlow® conveying system. This station allows automatic unloading operations with minimal operator intervention.
Operating principle:
• The bulk bag is positioned on the station using a pallet truck. The operator connects the spout of the bulk bag to the inflatable seal.
• The telescopic unloading tube, connected to the vacuum conveyor, plunges into the bulk bag
• A bulk bag massage device, coupled with a ventilation system, improve material flow at the bottom of the bag for complete discharge of the FIBC.
• The bulk bag lifting system has dual purpose:
o 1) assist weighing equipment without interference
o 2) optimize the flow of the product
• Resealing of the empty or semi-empty bulk bag

Equipment integrated into the EasyFlow® Flex model:
- Telescopic suction tube: the suction tube plunges into the center of the bulk bag. Its descent is controlled continuously or controlled by the level sensor fixed at the end of the tube and which detects low material level.
- Inflatable seal: the spout of the bulk bag is connected to an inflatable seal for dust and material containment.
- Blowing fan: the bulk bag fan ensures a constant shape of the FIBC to facilitate the total discharge of the bulk solids (no folds)
- Control cabinet: the cabinet allows control of the quantity of conveyed material
