Granulator - 4 standard models - Deagglomeration of bulk solids
The granulator (also known as a Kibbler) is an industrial equipment solution for the pre-breaking of agglomerated powders and compressed blocks of bulk materials. The industrial granulator provides coarse milling of dry materials to allow further processing downstream in an industrial process (e.g., fine milling of blocks of compressed powder or IQF foods).
Granulator range
With the integration of large rotating scrapper paddles and a sizing screen, the granulator facilitates the flow of material for further processing downstream. This industrial kibbler breaks up agglomerates and blocks of material by action of the rotary blades forcing the product through a sizing screen. A common industrial application for the granulator is finished food products (such as pretzels) that need to be broken down into coarse bits for re-purposing, such as candy bars. This industrial pre-breaker can also be used as a pre-mill stage for large blocks of material that need to be deagglomerated before feeding into a pin mill, for example, for finer milling purposes.

Operating mode :
The lump breaker - grinder is made of three or four chamfered paddles or scraper blades mounted on the radius of a 90 ° shaft. Lumps come against a sieve which mesh size should be defined (standard mesh 5x5, 10x10, 30x30, 50x50mm) and disintegrate.
Depending on the product, removable bars provide a first "breaking" of the clods. The lump breaker can be installed transversely (over the entire width of the machine) to ensure a high flow rate.
