Processed powder: starch and granulated sugar
Icing sugar line
French sugar cooperative company.
Supply and commissioning of a set of machines for the production of icing sugar and starch to feed a metering machine.
A big bag emptying station (hoist loading) supplies starch to a vacuumed pneumatic conveying cyclone. A second cyclone is fed with granulated sugar from a storage tank with a gearbox. A buffer hopper is sized to have an hour's autonomy when there is no power supply or when the big bag is being changed.
The 2 cyclones (sugar and starch) feed 1 premix conveying screw via 2 volumetric feeders. The mixture then passes through a GSC 600 vibratory screen equipped with an ejection system for foreign bodies and feeds a grinding stand consisting of: an industrial grinder, an agitated tank, a conveying screw, a rotary airlock valve, an industrial dust collection system and an explosion vent. At the inlet of the industrial mill, a magnetic bar gravity detector ensures that the material is free of foreign bodies.
The obtained final product is stored in a stirred hopper with an extraction screw to be conveyed to the filling and dosing machine for the final packing of the material.
Capacity of the packing line: 2.2 tons/h. or 73 vials/min
Packing line standards: Atex 20 inside/22 outside
99% of particles size < 70 µm
